Before relocating to Columbus in 2018, Lee Evans founded Ms. Lee's Music Time in Colorado and provided early childhood music classes throughout the Denver area. Lee also served on the faculty of Rocky Ridge Music Center.
Prior to living in Denver, Lee served on the faculty of the Early Childhood Department of The Johns Hopkins University's Peabody Preparatory, under the mentorship of Dr. Eric Rasmusson. Lee simultaneously served as a Musicianship Instructor for OrchKids, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's El Sistema outreach program designed to create social change and nurture promising futures for youth in Baltimore.
Lee has taught in both private and public schools in Baltimore and Denver, is a trained Music Together instructor and is a private piano instructor. Lee is currently pursuing certification at the Dalcroze School of the Rockies, under the tutalage of Dr. Jeremy Dittus.
Lee is passionate about conveying the joy of music and movement to young children, special needs students and seniors and is dedicated to ensuring the finest instruction methods are utilized to develop and grow the inner musician in all her students.
