Music Time for Mixed Ages (babies 3 months - age 4)

Registration for fall classes opens in July

Classes will begin in September and run 6 weeks

Tuition: $105 Siblings are welcome to join at a discounted rate.  
Siblings under 7 months may attend for free.  

Class duration: 45 minutes

Infants and toddlers, along with their parents or caregivers join together as a musical community. Activities include playing rhythm instruments, having fun with finger plays and singing and dancing to a wide variety of music of different meters and tonalities. A mixed-age setting allows children the freedom to develop basic skills like singing in tune and keeping an accurate beat at their own pace. Since there is no set age for these skills to be acquired, these classes provide a non-performance opportunity for musical exploration that the whole family can enjoy.  Music and songbooks are included with registration.

Drop in Classes

Drop in classes offer young families the convenience of attending on a more flexible basis and is ideal for families who may want to join after the semester has started, providing there is availability.

Music Time for Special Needs

We offer music and movement classes in a smaller group setting with more individualized attention.  These classes are available for young children through adolescent and can be held at a flexible location. Contact us to discuss your specific needs. 

 

Senior Classes

We offer music and movement classes for seniors at a flexible location. These classes are wonderful for stress reduction, improved speech, cognitive skills and increased social activity. Music and movement is often used in memory care treatment to slow the decline of speech skills in dementia patients. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.
